Amanda Hunter, Executive Director of the Barbara Lee Family Foundation and Lindsay Vermeyen, Partner with the Benenson Strategy Group, will discuss the results from our new Gender on the Ballot poll that explores the issues that matter most to women voters in this election. POLITICO’s National Political Reporter Elena Schneider will join to share her reporting on the campaign. WPI Executive Director Betsy Fischer Martin will facilitate the discussion. Following a special screening of Shaking It Up: The Life and Times of Liz Carpenter, co-producers/co-directors AU Alumna Christy Carpenter WCL/’95 and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Abby Ginzberg, will discuss the impact and legacy of pioneering Texan journalist and influential feminist leader Liz Carpenter, with Washington Post Political Columnist Karen Tumulty  and Zakiya Thomas, President and CEO of the ERA Coalition and the Fund for Women's Equality. Nancy LeaMond, Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy & Engagement Officer at AARP, Kristen Soltis Anderson, Founding Partner at Echelon Insights, and Margie Omero, Principal at the Democratic polling firm GBAO, will discuss AARP’s recently released data from their latest poll with WPI Executive Director Betsy Fischer Martin.
